Arson Machine Co.’s KeyMod™ light mount is a fine compliment to most KeyMod™ equipped hosts*. This mount is stout and covers 3 keyholes but can also be run cantilevered off the front of the rail if the host system allows it to be mounted in this manner. Like all of our mounts, the KeyMod™ mount was designed to be light weight and fully ambidextrous. Arson designed all mounts primarily to run the light in the 10:30 or 1:30 position with the light tucked in as tightly as possible to the top rail without interfering with rail mount front sights. With that said, rings or light adapters can be run at the 7:30 and 4:30 positions equally as well. With Arson light mounts you have the option of a 1″ ring or a Scout adapter for use with SureFire® M300/600 Scout lights. All mounting hardware is stainless steel that has been black oxide treated to reduce its visible signature in addition to enhancing the overall aesthetic. The bases, rings and adapters are all made from high quality, 100% grass fed, gluten free 6061 aluminum that is finished out nicely in a Type III hard anodized black top coat. This way you know that this mount will serve you for years to come through the foulest of range conditions, the longest storage in the back of the safe or the worst of boating accidents. Here at Arson Machine Co. we are not fans of billboards, so all markings are kept to a minimum thanks to strategic laser etching. We built these to last and look good doing it.
